Responsibilities
* Maintain: the Product Team's efforts to deliver products to meet our growing needs and energetic timelines.? * Work: closely with the Head of Product Development, Chief Technologist, Head of Collaboration and Head of Operations in our Connected Devices leadership team. * Lead: a product portfolio for Connected Devices, including the roadmap, requirements, and the user experience of those products with a team of Product Managers, UX Designers, and Partner Coordinators.?? * Collaborate: closely with UX, Engineering and Marketing teams to build and release premier products ? * See: around corners and anticipate risks. Find and resolve challenges before they become major obstacles to success or reasons for failure.? * Partner: to establish and build healthy relationships with diverse technical & non-technical roles spanning all organizational levels. Be able to build consensus among groups and around personalities that are geographically dispersed. ? * Influence: a diverse set of colleagues with your excellent relationship skills and commitment to driving good decisions and deep domain expertise ? * Perform: as someone who can help advance our Product & Technology strategy globally and challenge others in the organization to enlist in the changes needed for Mozilla to be successful in developing products that impact the industry and align with our Mission.
Ideal Candidate
* 15+ years experience in cloud computing technologies, IoT, integrated consumer products and emerging trends? * Keen customer insight and strong understanding of target audiences.? * Experience in open source, shared creation, and lean processes? * You are able to communicate with the engineering team on tactical technical decisions.? * Extraordinary analytical skills. Ability to translate high-level requirements into detailed product specifications.? * Validated ability to develop business cases and financial models to support new product introductions.? * Confirmed ability to meet deliverables and create content to support the product. * History of success in executing high-impact plans that move business metrics.? * Ability to achieve results through excellent communication skills and streamlined decision making.? * Being a self-starter who thrives in a energizing environment with tremendous opportunity ahead.? * Bachelors of Science degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.? * MBA highly desirable
