Summary
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic mid level inside sales cold caller with very strong organization and communication skills to join our New York business development team. This individual will primarily assist the sales / business development staff in setting up client meetings and conference calls and helping manage day-to-day lead generation activities.
Responsibilities
* Actively cold emailing and cold calling a broad set of executive level leads (CIOs, COO, DORs) to set up meetings and conference calls for sales team members. * Mapping org charts of client organizations and looking for new business leads within existing and prospective clients. * Conduct searches on LinkedIn, Google to identify new business leads * Maintain relationships with prospective leads by following up and recommending new support services; setting up and making follow-up calls with clients.
Ideal Candidate
* At least 2 years experience cold calling senior executives, preferably in the finance industry. * Must be comfortable and enthusiastic about cold-calling. * A self starter with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. * High energy level and highly motivated to drive business. * Open to accepting new challenges and willingness to learn. * Must be able to operate under pressure and meet tight deadlines. * Good communication skills and phone etiquette is a must. * Professional in all respects; high integrity. * Knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. * Knowledge of finance and capital markets will be an added advantage, but is not essential.
