Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush(MOR) is nationally recognized as a leader in comprehensive musculoskeletal medicine including; sports medicine, joint replacement, hand, foot and ankle, spine, pain medicine & rehabilitation, pediatrics and oncology. The orthopaedic program at Rush University Medical Center is ranked 6th nationally by U.S.News & World Report and is the highest ranked program in Illinois.

We are looking for a Patient Liaison at our Downtown Chicago location, who would report to our Director of Operations. We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

• Customer Service:
  • Function of this role is liaison between patient and physician practice.
  • Answer all questions related to self pay program.
  • Available throughout the patient experience to answer all questions.
• Preparation of clinic patient day:
  • Works closely with the PAs to ensure quality patient care.
• Organization
  • Handle all new patient calls and schedule appointments.
• Accuracy
  • Performs work with accuracy to minimize error correction by other staff members
• Correspondence/Communication
  • Facilitates communication between all members of the team.
• Cooperation & Attitude
  • Adapts to change in positive and professional manner
• Teamwork
  • Assists staff members when necessary in a positive and professional manner to ensure the patients receive the utmost in care
• Additional Duties
  • Stays abreast of and complies with all state and federal laws including HIPAA, ADA, OSHA, and FLSA
  • Any and all other duties assigned

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least five (5) years of customer service experience.
• Knowledge in state and federal laws including HIPAA, ADA, OSHA, and FLSA.
