Food and Beverage Cashier

The Food and Beverage Cashier operates and manages the POS system including all monetary/credit transactions. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.
- Accurately perform payment transactions for Food and Beverage dining outlets.
- Be familiar with property features and local attractions to accurately respond to guest inquiries.
- Precisely account for all revenues within all Food and Beverage dining outlets.
- Provide excellent guest service consistent with Company's core service standards and brand attributes.
- Maintain assigned banks and transport bank from satellite cage to work station and back.
- Maintain and clean organized workstation, and restock supplies upon delivery.
- Report any failing equipment to Supervisor on duty.
- Log all pertinent information on all tender type forms.
- Responsible for other special projects as they arise.
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
- Performs all other job related duties as requested.
Required
- At least 6 months of experience in an F&B outlet or similar environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
Preferred
- Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
