Food and Beverage Cashier

MGM Resorts International develops, builds and operates unique destination resorts designed to provide a total resort experience, including first-class accommodations and dining, world-class entertainment, state-of-the-art meeting and convention facilities, and high-quality retail and gaming experiences.

The Food and Beverage Cashier operates and manages the POS system including all monetary/credit transactions. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.

• Accurately perform payment transactions for Food and Beverage dining outlets.
• Be familiar with property features and local attractions to accurately respond to guest inquiries.
• Precisely account for all revenues within all Food and Beverage dining outlets.
• Provide excellent guest service consistent with Company's core service standards and brand attributes.
• Maintain assigned banks and transport bank from satellite cage to work station and back.
• Maintain and clean organized workstation, and restock supplies upon delivery.
• Report any failing equipment to Supervisor on duty.
• Log all pertinent information on all tender type forms.
• Responsible for other special projects as they arise.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Performs all other job related duties as requested.

Required

• At least 6 months of experience in an F&B outlet or similar environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.

Preferred

• Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
