* Provide leadership and direction in designing the experience model across channels along with promoting and applying user-centric design thinking on projects * Work with brand, creative, and technical project teams to define and document requirements (business, stakeholder, user, and content) and success metrics, overall user experience vision on projects, and recommend strategically sound solutions to meet client’s business needs * Work with technical and creative leads, the sales team, and the client to identify the client’s business requirements and articulate them in written requirements * Provide consultation to project teams on interaction approach, usability, information taxonomy, and navigation * Manage vendors and external project teams when necessary * Apply and train others in best practices for user-centered design and user research * Stay current with core web and application development technology trends, capabilities, and limitations * Create innovative conceptual interaction design models * Collaborate well with visual designers to create a well-integrated solution * Architect consistent information flows for site navigation * Participate in project processes including schedules, meetings, change requests, deadlines, scope, resource hours, and deliverables, in conjunction with other team members

* Demonstrate a strong belief in user-centric design coupled with the ability to explain how to approach design * Possess solid UX skills in the areas of user research, personas, workflows, wireframes and prototypes * Ability to quickly grasp the fundamentals of a complex domain and come up with UX solutions that are simple and well-organized * Demonstrate ease and confidence visualizing ideas with simple tools such as markers, sticky notes and a whiteboard as well as translate ideas into highly detailed and annotated wireframes * Experience performing stakeholder interviews, requirements gathering, and user research * Solid understanding of interaction design principles * Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills * Ability to fulfill, facilitate, or lead any or all UX/IA duties on a given project * 5-8+ years of experience in UX/IA field, or equivalent * Bachelor’s degree * Excellent visual and verbal communicator with a demonstrated strong creative vision for organizing interactive information systems * Comfortable with interaction design standard toolkit programs * Extremely detail-oriented, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with aggressive development schedules
