Sanitation Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Manpower's Client, an Employer of Choice in Cincinnati, is now hiring a Sanitation Supervisor to direct a crew of up to 20 hourly employees on 2nd Shift.

* Adhere strictly to sanitation (Good Manufacturing Practices) is required by federal regulations to assure food safety for all consumers. * Assure compliance to all federally mandated regulations by the production facility to assure food safety for consumers. * Monitor suppliers and their ingredients for compliance to these same federally mandated regulations.

* Maintains master cleaning schedule for plant meeting GMP and Kellogg guidelines. Communicates clean up results to operations group using digital pictures and scoring for each area. * Assigns plant wide sanitation areas of responsibilities to all supervisors. * Monitors completion of these audits and follows up with required corrective actions the audits identify. * Member of the Food Safety Committee (Multidisciplinary management committee designated to address food safety in plant). * Completes Monthly Plant Sanitation Audits including scoring for 3 designated areas (Processing, Packing, Warehouse). * Directs Pest Control Operators and Dust Control Operators to assure compliance to all regulations. (Pesticides, Clean Air Act-Title V, etc.) * Responsible for sanitation of plant, warehouse, and plant grounds. * Ensure adherence to all standard work processes, including K-LEAN processes. * Other duties as assigned. **Experience Required** * Organizational, attention to detail, interpersonal, communication and analytical skills, computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint. * The incumbent is required to work effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment, understands and meets internal and external business needs with professionalism and a sense of urgency. * Work coverage may be beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays. **Education Required** * Bachelors in technical field plus 3 years manufacturing experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites. * Certification in pest control desirable, Effective communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills * Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities * Strong problem solving and decision making skills * Ability to plan, organize and effectively manage people
