Senior Big Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Sr.Big Data Engineer who will play a key role in designing, building and supporting the enterprise Business Intelligence architecture including Data Warehouse and Reporting Solutions, which enable us to make business decisions. The Sr. Big Data Engineer will work to create and document standards for internal reporting that will be utilized company-wide. This role will also maintain the reporting infrastructure by administering report security, report backups and source control.

Lead and develop a new data warehouse initiative from the ground up Work with many departments collecting data from many different existing systems and helping them to identify valuable information to record and report on Create ETL tools pulling logs and statistics from desktop and mobile software, hardware like our network connected 3D printers, websites like Thingiverse, Salesforce, ecommerce, ERP, Google Analytics, etc. Implement BI tools like Domo, reporting, and dashboards, to help the whole company be more data driven Work with application developers to include personalized data and intelligence from the data warehouse into the application level Understand and support Legacy solutions and reports while migrating to a long-term strategy Identify and implement long-term data management and reporting solutions across multiple data sources.

* 5+ years experience in Data Warehouse systems and Business Intelligence development Experience designing and building big data infrastructure from the ground up Ability to work in an agile development environment a plus Big Data Ecosystems: Redshift, Hadoop, MapReduce Scripting Languages: Python, node.js, PHP Comfortable working in a fast-paced technical or engineering environment * Extra experience counts too! * Familiarity with 3D printing or MakerBot
