Summary
We’re looking for a Group Product Manager to help us achieve our mission of bringing enjoyable, effective and accessible online education to the world. We’ve reached over a million students and want help getting to ten million. You’ll be working with our Product and Engineering team to make our existing products better and to help create new products. You’ll also work with our CEO to create the product plan and determine what we need to execute against our plan.
Responsibilities
* Work with the CEO to determine the product strategy * Build new products that help with user growth * Improve existing products (we use NPS and test score improvement as product quality metrics) * Work hands-on in many different product functions including mockups, usability tests, data analysis, and more * Serve as a sounding board for product managers and engineers, with the potential to be a people manager longer-term * Prioritize products and goals by impact and effort, and figure out the plan to achieve those goals * Work hands-on wherever else needed – we’re a startup and we ask everyone on the team to help out!
Ideal Candidate
* 7+ years of experience in product management * Experience building new consumer web and mobile apps * Experience launching features to products at millions of users in scale. * Ability to conduct user interviews, conduct usability tests, design features, design A/B tests, and fill in for any other product management or product design position * Experience forecasting impact and prioritizing across several products * Experience with estimating technical requirements for products * Experience working closely with engineers and understanding of the software development process * Experience managing people * Comfort with uncertainty and ambiguity * Passion for leveling the education playing field, putting students first
