Madison utilizes its direct secondary strategy to acquire limited partnership, closed end fund, private REIT, joint venture, thinly traded property company and structured equity interests in class A properties and portfolios in the U.S, U.K., and Western Europe.

Summary

Madison International Realty, LLC (Madison), a specialty real estate private equity firm, seeks to hire Portfolio and Asset Management Analyst in its New York headquarters office. Timing is immediate.

Responsibilities
  • Analyzing and reporting financial performance of existing investments
  • Working collaboratively with senior management and portfolio management team to develop investment strategies and valuations
  • Assisting in underwriting potential financing and disposition transactions
  • Developing working knowledge of the assets including leasing, budgeting, reforecasting and waterfall structures
  • Preparing detailed financial models, sensitivity analysis, and Argus models
  • Preparing quarterly investor reports
  • Completing additional projects as needed
  • Traveling to inspect target assets and markets
Ideal Candidate
  • 1-2 years of experience with a real estate background
  • Strong academic credentials from a top undergraduate business program, preferably with a major in finance, economics, real estate
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and ARGUS skills.
  • Experience with word processing, research, databases such as CoStar and other computer applications
  • Strong interest in real estate, finance and investment management, as demonstrated through internships, work experience, and classroom work
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support the firm's investment and sourcing activities
  • Ability to work effectively independently as well as in a team setting
