Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs

* Development and management of all regulatory information related to ingredients, formulations, and labels and ensure compliance to corporate and FDA regulations as well as compliance in regions where Lyons Magnus has a business interest. (Domestic and International). * Manage the regulatory team and technical requests to meet and exceed customer expectations in product documentation turnaround time and accuracy. * Manage the regulatory process for commercialization of products to meet customer timelines (Label setup, internal specification documentation set up, customer product database set up etc). * Review and Approve labels in compliance with all FDA regulations and provide guidance on product label and formula compliance in regions Lyons has a business interest. * Manage religious (Kosher and Halal), Fair Trade, and organic compliance programs. * Interpret regulatory requirements or rule changes and ensure that they are communicated through corporate policies and procedures. * Maintain current knowledge base of existing and emerging regulations, standards, or guidance documents and recommend changes to company procedures in response to changes in regulations or standards. * Perform and maintain a regulatory risk assessment and provide timely recommendations and projects in response to emerging issues related to Lyons Magnus. * Provide a monthly update of regulatory affairs and emerging issues to VP of Product Development suitable for presenting to Sr. Management team. * Serve as Lyons Magnus representative / technical liaison with corporate legal, local governmental agencies and professional organizations in regions where Lyons Magnus does business. * Develop and maintain regulatory network (formal and informal) by establishing relationship with various regulatory bodies, local consultants and legal entities within the respective countries / regions where Lyons Magnus has business interests. * Performs other related and assigned duties by senior management.

* BS degree in Food Science or related area from an accredited college or university. **Work Experience:** * 5-10 years of relevant work experience within the food-manufacturing environment, with experience in regulatory affairs management, international compliance, and customer interface. * Export regulatory experience a must. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** * Analyze and resolve complex problems. * Project Management. * Sound general business acumen. * Knowledge of various cultures. * Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal and external customers verbally and in writing. * Prepare a variety of comprehensive administrative and technical documents and reports. * Read and process written information with high degree of accuracy. * Work effectively in a general business environment, with a focus on high level of quality, ethics and * customer service. **Leadership/Management Responsibility:** * Ability to lead by influencing. * Achieving results through others where no / little formal lines of authority exist * Teamwork within the department and across departments and facilities
