Summary
A business support position for Lyons Magnus, an international food and beverage manufacturer headquartered in Fresno, California. This position involves the daily gathering and analysis of essential information to assist in support of multiple Lyons divisions.
Responsibilities
* Create pricing models in support of existing and new business opportunities. As well as document, organize, and update key customer pricing contracts. * Analyze all cost drivers using available data and how they affect profitability in the short and long term. Focusing on key commodity research and communication to senior management to understand raw material cost over time. * Prepare quarterly and ad-hoc sales reporting for senior leadership and the sales team. Making sure to identify issues, opportunities, and trends. * Gather, analyze and manage raw material production usage data for all of our key raw materials. This will often involve extraction of data from the Lyons host system and subsequent spreadsheet analysis. * Prepare production and raw material requirement forecasts for key raw materials that we purchase. * Perform special research and analysis as directed on key customers. Focusing on providing data driven solutions to complex issues.
Ideal Candidate
* A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in business finance. * 2 + years experience preferred within related business fields. * Highly skilled in Excel spreadsheets, Word documents and Power Point. Proficiency in Access and SQL is a benefit. * Demonstrated experience in financial data analysis. * Possess excellent organizational, planning and overall time management skills. Effective communication skills both verbal and written is a must. * Must work well in a group setting.
