Responsibilities
* Maintain primary strategic relationship with client on small to medium size engagements * Evaluate client’s strategic business objectives in order to develop optimal benefits strategies * Develop client appropriate compliant and cost-effective solutions * Lead client meetings and presentations * Collaborate with Associate Consultant to develop comprehensive client management strategy * Review and approve client presentations and recommendations * Provide best practice guidance to clients * Supervise and mentor Associate Consultants and Analysts. Provide routine feedback on work and technical skills * Lead on standard Expat and Business Travel engagements * Lead on small-scale engagements (small GBM engagements, one-off local placements) * Support senior consultants on larger GBM engagements
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree, Graduate degree preferred * Minimum of 5 years of related business work experience * 3-5 years Global Benefits consulting experience * Project management experience * Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail * Experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and presentation design * Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative * Experience in cross-border, health, welfare and retirement benefits in primary markets, and multinational pooling * Proficiency in a foreign language preferred * Sound understanding of: Cross-border plans, structures, risks, carriers, and compliance; Cross-border compliance risks; Multinational pooling; Health and welfare benefits practice in primary global markets; Extraterritoriality of US laws and regulations * Familiarity with key features of EU regulations affecting benefits, retirement plans in primary global markets and offshore retirement savings solutions * Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills * Advanced proficiency using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Salesforce * Life, health, & accident license, GPHR preferred
