* Technical support on the Global IT Helpdesk supporting 800 users worldwide * Managing communications between the Helpdesk team and the business * Managing Inventories * Create and manage the Helpdesk policies and procedures * Maintain and deploy new hardware and software, which includes OS Installations, patching, day-to-day operations, maintenance, and upgrades * Ensure ongoing usability of peripheral equipment and guidelines while ensuring optimum equipment performance and longevity

* Performs maintenance functions such as user creation and assignment of rights and permissions * Should be familiar with Microsoft Active Directory * Knowledge of remote access * Installs and configures county applications on computers as required * Maintains compliance with software licensing and inventory * Maintains compliance of operating systems Windows 7,8 and Server 2008 * Manage and collaborate with third party suppliers and ensure that their performance and provision of services and quality are in line with our expectations * Ensure that practices and processes exist and when it is possible are standardized and repeatable * Identify and implement improvements to the Service Desk incident logging system in order to provide a more effective and efficient service to customers
