Summary
As a Senior Research Manager you will bring your analytic thinking and desire to impact business decisions to collaborate with like-minded professionals and lead project teams. Using your attention to detail, discretionary judgment and flexible leadership, you will lead projects that achieve high-quality client results. Your direction of the project management of multiple studies will support our unique ability to use market research to have business impact. Your diligence and initiative to build research and management skills, develop people and have strong financial performance will be met with growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Direct project process and execute analysis with thoroughness to produce high-quality, high-accuracy market research deliverables. - Develop and adhere to timelines to run and execute project components efficiently, for multiple projects at a time. - Manage project activities and members while achieving excellent financial results. - Maintain client rapport through communications that develop trust and build strong relationships. - Synthesize and analyze data to discern insights, then communicate them clearly to internal and external stakeholders. - Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership while looking for growth opportunities for team members. - Build morale and support team efforts. - Actively lead problem solving efforts, provide suggestions and take action on areas needing improvement. - Provide one-on-one mentoring and coaching. - Directly supervise at least one employee. - May be involved in contributing to or leading Business Unit or company-wide initiatives. - May facilitate training workshops.
Ideal Candidate
**Education and/or Experience:** * B.A. in related field such as Business, Economics, or Social Sciences. M.A. preferred. * At least 3 years of prior experience in market research. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** - Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously to deliver quality deliverables with strong financial performance. - Strong leadership skills of both direct reports and project members. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strategic analytic thinker with good business acumen. - Capable of working independently and within teams.
