Summary
Lending Club is looking to hire a Senior Product Manager to be a part of the Product team.
Responsibilities
* Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize internal and external customer needs and features * Define the roadmap and Agile queue to ensure engineering productivity and properly set business expectations * Work daily with engineering, finance, risk and other business users to launch great products that internal and external customers love * Research and document product requirements at a level of detail that is appropriate for the given risk and stakeholder needs * Be the Product Owner for an Agile scrum team or two * Create business cases. Analyze the cost and benefits for new features * Lead key projects from concept through planning to development, launch, and post-launch support

**We are looking for people who:** * Are competent, self-directed, and have no ego * Have the ability to dive into complex problems and arrive at well-designed solutions * Are team players – we help each other learn * Appreciate and exhibit strong accountability and ownership * Are intellectually curious with the humility to ask questions * Take a data-centric approach to prioritizing and measuring new features **Requirements:** * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience * Strong candidates will have a minimum of 7 years of Product Management experience at a finance and/or internet company * Experience in online credit, lending, risk management, and payments is helpful * In-depth experience in at least two of the following areas: * Leveraging Big Data and Data Warehousing tools and techniques to generate business value * Using Business Intelligence (Reporting, Basic Analytics, Predictive Analytics and Prescriptive Analytics) to provide actionable insights and stories to business users * Participating in Data Governance and Stewardship activities * Building enterprise software and infrastructure / tools * Financial services product management with particular experience handling accounting and general ledgers * Deep customer focus and experience with researching and determining internal and external customer needs * Highly quantitative, analytical and business-minded. Ability to solve complex problems in an organized way * Comfortable working closely with Engineering and experience with Agile development
