Subsidiary Compliance Paralegal

Leggett & Platt, Incorporated is seeking a bright, self-motivated team player to join the Corporate Affairs Department at its corporate office in Carthage, MO. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high degree of maturity and professionalism as well as the ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, government authorities, and coworkers at all levels.

* Managing corporate records * Executing governance and compliance projects * Filing corporate documents with government authorities * General administrative support to Subsidiary Compliance Officer * Various levels of involvement across a broad spectrum of corporate projects, including mergers, acquisitions and financing, involving Leggett’s subsidiaries in the U.S. and abroad

The ideal candidate will have an intuitive mind and strong customer service skills. **Requirements** * Exceptional attention to detail * Excellent written and oral communication * Ability to organize multiple priorities, tasks and deadlines effectively **Desired Skills** * Recent or upcoming graduate with strong academic achievement * Administrative or paralegal experience is helpful but not required * Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint would be a plus
