Inspector

L-3 is a prime contractor in aerospace systems. L-3 is also a leading provider of a broad range of communication and electronic systems and products used on military and commercial platforms.

The inspector position will support in-process and final inspection efforts using predetermined methods, processes, techniques, procedures, standards, etc to verify product such as: metal fab, cables, CCAs, mechanical assemblies, electrical assemblies, kits, subassemblies, and top level systems.

* Experience using standard calibrated measuring devices such as dial indicators, micrometers, calipers, variety of gauges, fixtures, CMM, etc to perform inspection of product. * · Must be computer literate. * · Works from engineering drawing, engineering changes, parts lists, customer specifications, standards, inspection plans and workmanship standards. * · Detail oriented, committed to integrity and customer service is a must. * · Works well individually and in a team environment. Understands and follows through with verbal and written instructions. Good communication skills are essential. * · Assures strict control of non-conforming product and maintain accurate records. * · Assures that all associated product documentation is in compliance with requirements. * · Ability to work overtime and extended hours when required. * · Experience performing FAI and IPC-610 or IPC-620 certification desired but not a must.

* This position requires 2+ years of progressive experience in quality or reliability disciplines. * Additional experience include: * Experience in evaluating defects and determining root cause * Experience in implementing corrective action * Experience in Aerospace manufacturing
