Software Engineer - Gaming

A leading gaming manufacturer of slot machines and casino management systems.

- Researches, designs and develops system software/firmware in conjunction with NAMB hardware product development. - Applies strong C, C++, Java Developer experience to code new and enhanced development objectives; analyze objectives and problems specified by engineers and/or designers. - Coordinates the testing scripts, documentation, and deployment schedule with the QA, Training and Documentation departments. - Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance. - Analyze information to determine, recommend and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system. - Troubleshoot and diagnose client issues and resolve in efficient and timely manner.

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or similar field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Art institute certification or awards desirable. - Two to six years of related experience and/or training. Casino gaming or lottery systems experience a plus. - Strong experience in software design, development and quality. - High degree of knowledge and understanding of computer systems, Java, C++, C, JDBC, Oracle, or other RDBMS, SQL Plus, Android API, Mobile App development, networking, and SAS products. - Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
