Kforce is seeking an Associate Java Engineer to work for a global company based out of San Diego, California (CA). The qualified candidate will be motivated individual who is passionate, and a good communicator. Big plus if you have Full stack experience, but you can learn on the job. Responsibilities
  • Work as a member of an Agile software development team
  • Participation in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities
  • Implement and document assigned software capabilities
  • Productions of use case, requirements, code, unit test and documentation artifacts.
  • Provide feedback during design and code peer reviews
  • Adhere to software team's established processes and tools
  • Participate in sprint planning and estimating
  • Contribute ideas for process improvement, including coding practices, standards and tools
  • Show commitment to company values, ethics, safety, security, labor charging, and quality
  • Engage in continuous self-improvement of technical and communication skills
Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other Engineering / Technical discipline plus 2 years of software development experience or Master's degree in a technical discipline plus 1 years of software development experience
  • Experience with software engineering processes and process improvement
  • Experience with Agile development and with Web GUI framework, JSF and / or Angular is desired
  • Proficiency in Java S2E / Java 2EE, web development (HTML 5, XML, Java, JavaScript, Weblogic, Tomcat), Persistent framework, Spring Framework, Web Services (JAX-WS), Eclipse IDE, Version Control (GIT / ClearCase), Unit Testing, SQL / PSQL and other developmental software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good interpersonal communication and team-oriented skills
  • Ability to provide accurate estimation for software development effort
  • Qualified candidates must be presently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this company does not sponsor or transfer H1-visa individuals
