Production Control Clerk

We are currently searching for a Production Control Clerk for our plant which has bulk manufacturing, blending, conveyor, filling, labeling, and packaging processes. The Production Control Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of clerical duties that support production and inventory control.

* Enter all finished goods and WIP into the computer database system. * Identify, count, and print and attach labels to all finished goods. * Follow-up on discrepancies. * Complete forms and required documentation. * Review pallet tag information received from Production and verify product has been produced. * Perform cycle counting of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods. * Assist in the reconciliation of production location information. * Operate stretch wrapper. * Keep P&IC area clean and organized. * Notify supervisor of unusual problems, delays, and/or safety issues. * Follow SOP’s, GMP’s safety rules, and good housekeeping procedures. * Report food safety problems. * Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have 1 or more years of related clerical experience, preferably within a production environment. Accurate data entry skills and computer proficiency are required. AS400 or MAPICS experience is a plus. Must be able to communicate and interact effectively with people. Ability to speak, read, and write English is required. Must have good Math skills. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Ability to lift or move 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation is required. Must be willing and able to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.
