Business Analyst Lead

As an IT Business Systems Analyst supporting Loan IQ initiatives, you will serve as a liaison between IT and the product owner and perform key responsibilities in the agile delivery process. The role of agile team member consists of partnering with the Product Owner and other team members in evaluating technology needs. The analyst is key in translating the requirements for the developers on the team and working on the develop of business examples with the team using tools such as Spec by Example. The analyst participates in and provides support throughout all phases including testing and post implementation. These activities and partnerships include large enterprise multi-department events as well as small intra department projects. Within the department you will assume joint responsibility for developing and maintaining departmental documentation and assist with SharePoint administration. You will work directly with technicians, assisting with installation planning including opening requests and engaging change management.

* Primary BA for Loan IQ Application; gain and provide subject matter expertise * Within the Agile framework work closely with Product Owner and team members to meet the business requirements. * Provide support to application users and to the Firm’s other teams that interface, support, or provide oversight * Liaison between the business units and the technology team, facilitate meetings and report status * Work closely with business partners to identify requirements * Understand and summarize business requirements * Identify and engage key upstream Business and Operations partners * Identify and engage key downstream IT partners * Identify cross impact to other systems * Understand how and when to use SDLC processes * Plan and Coordinate testing phases, SIT, IST and UAT; * Document and administer project defects on tools used by team * Monitor milestones and critical dates to identify potential jeopardy of schedule and identify / mitigate risk * Ensure defect resolution is completed * Active participation in implementation and post implementation processes * Contribute to continuous improvement and proactively support knowledge sharing within the team

* Knowledge of Loan IQ application and core understanding of table structure * Strong Finance background related to Commercial Lending * Minimum of 7 years experience as an IT Business Analyst within a technology organization * Strong experience and understanding of business systems analysis functions * High skill level with Agile framework and working as part of an Agile team * Expertise in the translation of business requirements * Advanced writing skills, to include solid experience * Expertise in testing including test plan and script creation, and the use of testing tools * Understanding of Information risk requirements for annual certifications and SOX * Experience supporting applications using distributed system technologies (Unix, Oracle, JAVA) desired ) * SQL skills to create basic queries against the Loan IQ database. **Ideal Candidate Attributes:** * Self-starter * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Strong organizational and prioritizing skills * Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities * Embraces team-based approach * Strong, clear communication and presentation skills * Strives for Continuous Improvement **Technical Skills:** * Advanced knowledge of business analysis methods and practices * Strong knowledge of Microsoft tools - Word, Excel, Visio ,Project and PowerPoint * Experience using SQL for queries and basic updates * Experience using testing tools and automated test script applications
