Strategy and Business Development Manager

The eBusiness group at John Muir Health is a dynamic, well-organized team that is passionate about creating innovative web and mobile products that will revolutionize healthcare delivery. In just the past three years, we’ve created a new team, launched a patient portal, a mobile app, a physician portal, and are building innovative applications while fully committed to Agile philosophies that will raise the bar on how healthcare is delivered.

Assists line managers with development of new business opportunities for John Muir Health, including development of business plans and implementation support.

* Identifies opportunities and develops business plans for new locations and services. * Assists with definition of project scope, budget, timelines and deliverables. * Estimates the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals; drafts budget proposals. * Organizes appropriate teams and work groups. * Effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. * Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical paths; plans and schedules project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. * Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, and presentations * Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential crises, and devises contingency plans * Works proactively with physician partners * Manages consultant relationships and deliverables * Coordinates internal communications

* Bachelors degree required, masters preparation and/or project management certification preferred * Three to five years experience in healthcare setting required * Experience developing budgets and project plans * Documented ability to manage and develop teams * Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources * Strong written and oral communication skills
