Controls Engineer

* The role will allow you to work cross functionally with other departments within the company to include Production, Engineering and Maintenance by displaying your electrical and automation controls experience to continuously optimize the machinery uptime. * The ideal candidate will have keen knowledge of programming and troubleshooting Ladder Logic PLC. * Additional expertise in a mechanical. pneumatic, electrical systems environment will also help you be a huge success. * The best part of this job is the impact that you will have by working side by side with other departments during the design and implementation phase of the new equipment installs where your suggestions will be a key part to how well the team performs. * If you enjoy implementing, testing and testing automation and controls to a high degree then you will fit in fine. * You will be asked to teach others to ensure Safety first as well as a keen focus on Continuous Improvement. * You will also be asked to work by yourself and have strong analytical problem solving skills. * Strong knowledge of PLC Programming as well as AC and DC Drives, Servo positioning systems, process instrumentation and Control and experience with electric installs and power distribution is needed to have this exciting role.

* At least 3 years of manufacturing expertise in application development or system integration * 2 plus years of Project Management experience * Wonderware experience is a huge plus. * 4 year degree in EE, CS, MIS or a related field that led you to begin a career within a Manufacturing environment. * SCADA, PLC and Electrical COntrol Systems expertise to include programming and troubleshooting. * Lean Manufacturing Experience is a plus.
