Summary
Assist with internal audit procedures relating to information technology and integrated audits. Maintain all organizational and professional ethical standards. The intern will be participating in actual audits and will be a key team member. You will learn to apply a corporate audit process and apply the skills you've learned in class. The duration of the internship will be from May 2017-August 2017.
Responsibilities
**Business** * Under the supervision of a Manager, Senior or experienced Staff, performs audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting business processes and procedures, for IT and integrated Financial audits. * Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of IT and integrated Financial controls relating to governance, project management, change management, information security, system backup and recovery, data center operations, business continuity and disaster recovery. * Determine compliance with Company policies, standards, procedures, and applicable statutes and government regulations. * Assist in communicating the results of audit projects via written and oral presentations to management. * Assist in preparing written reports in English for all levels of management, detailing audit findings, conclusions, and agreed-upon corrective actions. * Prepare audit work papers in order to document and support audit findings and conclusions. **Agility and Innovation** * Assist in the identification of improvement opportunities and development of action plans. * Assist in identifying and evaluating the organization’s risk areas and provide input to the development of the Audit Plan. **Relationships and People** * Maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to deliver results and support business performance. * Promote teamwork in a global Internal Audit organization.
Ideal Candidate
**Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:** * Progress towards a bachelor's degree in Accounting, MIS or Computer Science.Please note that, to be eligible for an internship, you must be an enrolled student at the time of the internship. If you have completed your degree, please consider our other posted opportunities. * Strong computer skills using Microsoft application suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Strong Excel skills for data analysis preferred. * Able and willing to travel up to 25% of the time. * Excellent written and verbal communications skills to interact with all levels of management. * Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
