Our services include flexible, affordable financing; full-scale real estate consulting; community development initiatives; and public policy and research that strengthen the nonprofit sector and guide resource allocation by government and foundations. We offer long-term loans for facility acquisition, renovation, construction, and leasehold improvements for up to 95 percent of a capital project’s cost. Smaller loans are available for equipment purchases or facility repairs. We also provide loans for affordable and supportive housing and energy efficiency improvements, and coordinate financing with other lenders and funding sources, including New Markets and Low Income Housing Tax Credits. As a community developer, we acquire, own, and manage community-integrated housing for low-income, disabled adults; develop grocery stores in food deserts; and redevelop foreclosed properties near public transit into affordable homes and apartments.
