Tax Analyst

IDEX Corporation is currently seeking a highly motivated individual for our tax analyst position, reporting to the tax manager. In this challenging role you will assist with the preparation of U.S. federal, state, and international tax returns as well as related ASC 740 accounting for income tax schedules. The position is eligible for an annual bonus.

* Preparing US, state, and international corporate tax returns, extensions, and estimated payments; * Direct communication with state taxing authorities regarding tax notices and inquiries; * Assist in the quarterly and annual ASC740 financial reporting including federal, state, and international aspects; * Assist in the research, analysis, and documentation of domestic and international transactions and planning ideas; * Aid in the support of income tax audits by both federal and state taxing authorities; * Communicate with subsidiary units regarding income and non-income tax matters

* Minimum of 1-2 year tax experience in public accounting; * CPA or active pursuit of CPA; * Experience preparing tax forms including US Form 1120; * Prior exposure to ASC 740 and FIN 48 work papers preferred; * Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, exposure to the OneSource Income Tax Return software a plus; * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; * Team Player
