Summary
This is a contract position, perfect for someone with around 3 years of administrative experience who is looking to take on a new challenge. This institution has great culture, and is looking to find top-level talent for this open-ended role!
Responsibilities
* Managing calendars and scheduling meetings * A wide range of administrative tasks such as copying, document management, completing spreadsheets and presentations, and more * Expense reporting * Booking travel, processing travel vouchers and handling related tasks * Answering department’s phone line, providing information or routing calls as appropriate * Coverage for reception desk during absences (lunch, etc.) * Some event planning activities: coordinating with caterers, booking event spaces, etc.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree preferred * 3-5 years’ administrative experience * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Experience managing a calendar with MS Outlook or similar scheduling program * Experience booking travel for others (complex – including car rentals, flights, etc.) * Advanced level MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) * Organized, great time management skills * Exceptional customer service skills, able to respond to requests with appropriate sense of urgency
