Quality Technician III

Hendrickson is a designer and manufacturer of suspension systems and components for heavy-duty trucks.

• CMM Programming using PCDIMS on a manual machine.
• Prepare PPAP documents and submit to Quality Engineer.
• Operate CMM to measure finished assemblies, components, gages, fixtures, and production tooling.
• Complete and summarize inspections, input data into computer, distribute results and evaluate/analyze data.
• Provide feedback data to engineering.
• Perform first piece approval and capability studies to satisfy customer requirement.
• Communicate with shop floor personnel to resolve any and all part related issues.
• Perform calibration and Gage R & R and maintain records
• Perform quality audits on the floor to ensure instructions and control plans are being followed, report findings, and follow up of related corrective actions.
• Maintain gage calibration system and perform study on gages.
• Perform Quality Audits.

• High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred.
• Two years of CMM programming experience using PCDIMS.
• Ability to problem solve.
• High level of analytical skills.
• Must be able read blueprints and have a working knowledge of geometric tolerances.
• Must be familiar with basic computer skills and file organization.
• Experience in ISO/TS 16949 quality management system
• Experience in PPAP documentation.
• Experience in inspection gages/fixtures and methods
• Understanding of metrology and GD & T.
• Must be able to move parts and equipment on work table to use various measuring instruments
