Robotic Technician

This position is located in Bedford Park, IL and is responsible for the repair and maintenance of specialized robotic cutters used in the CIPP process. Robotic cutters are used to reinstate sewer lateral connections remotely from a CCTV truck and to trim existing intruding lateral connections during installation process.

* Maintain, repair and troubleshoot problems with the robotic cutters and other small mechanical equipment as required. * · Maintain inventory controls for parts and tools required for repair and maintenance. * Create/Maintain a Preventive Maintenance database. * Train installation crews to resolve minor issues in field. * Organize multiple tasks and have the ability to retrieve information when requested. * Other duties as assigned.

**Education:** * High School diploma and post/secondary education specializing in electrical or mechanical repair. **Work Experience:** * 2-5 years experience in Electrical and/or mechanical equipment repair **Knowledge, skills, and abilities:** * Must have the ability to multi-task and work within deadlines. * Experience with Schwalm Robotic Systems a plus. * Computer confidence with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office a plus. * Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with others. * Strong organizational skills. **Physical Demands:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
