Accounts Receivable Specialist

• Independently analyzes client invoices as needed to insure that invoicing complies with contract specifications in regards to tier levels and makes adjustments accordingly
• Establish and maintain working relationships with client finance departments to facilitate collections activities
• Collaborate with department management to maintain collections goals and general A/R performance levels
• Communicate with Account Managers for assigned region to facilitate the execution of monthly client invoicing with the Home Office
• Coordinate with other A/R Specialists in regards to payment postings and research
• Provide backup support for the reception area in answering phone lines when needed
• Assist in other duties as needed and directed

• Minimum of Associates Degree in Accounting/Finance or Business Administration with two (2) years of direct Accounts Receivable experience (Bachelors a plus) or High School Diploma with a minimum of 5+ years documented Accounts Receivable experience
• Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate, post, correct and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
• High level of analytical and time management skill and outstanding customer service
• Proficiency in full-scale accounting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Solid computer proficiency is required with experience using Microsoft Office Suite
