Product Manager, Robotics (Self-Driving Car), X

As a part of the Product Management team, you will work closely with the engineering team to guide our product specifically focusing on the software that powers the self-driving car such as the software that helps take the inputs from sensors to perceive the world around the car and that decides how the car should behave.
- Understand high level strategic levers and forces. Be tactical and technical to clear out obstacles and get to launch.
- Help move the team forward and remove roadblocks: from writing requirements to logs analysis.
- Operate as part of the engineering team in decision-making on product development and priorities.
- Make swift yet thoughtful decisions of significant impact in both business and technical issues.
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of relevant product management experience.
- 2 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Experience introducing new products to market.
Preferred qualifications
- MBA degree or Masters/PhD in Robotics.
- Experience managing different groups, including Executives, Engineers, and other Product Managers across Product Areas; excellent written/oral communication skills, organizational and analytical skills.
- Familiarity or experience with autonomous systems, computer vision, computer learning, or mapping.
- A track record of successful product delivery from inception to launch.
- Technical depth and analytical bent to synthesize requests from many stakeholders into clear and concise requirements.
- Comfortable with scripting and dashboard creation.
