Summary
A GoHealth Medicare Sales Agent will assist senior and other Medicare eligible customers through the important decision making process of selecting a health plan that matches their needs with the optimal product and service. The ideal candidate is motivated, energetic, and confident. The Medicare Agent will be licensed to sell Health Insurance in the state of Illinois. In addition, the agent will be responsible for providing the outstanding customer satisfaction while achieving monthly sales goals. This position will report to the Program Manager of Carrier Sales Solutions.
Responsibilities
* Field inbound sales inquiries to effectively and efficiently sell health insurance plans (no cold calling) * Successfully complete all licensing requirements * Guide consumers through the Medicare health insurance policy selection and application process and serve as subject matter expert for Medicare enrollments * Quickly learn and follow policies and procedures * Provide an excellent consumer experience for all callers, and be passionate about helping the aging and disabled community * Comply with Federal CMS and State legal requirements and standards * Operate at all times with integrity and be an ambassador for GoHealth
Ideal Candidate
* Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare, and enrollment steps, is preferred, but not required * Professional and motivated self-starter, preferrably with proven success in Medicare insurance sales * Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office * Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, with both consumers and co-workers * Ability to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and performance driven environment * Excellent verbal/phone based communication skills * Must be licensed in Illinois * Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required * Multi-lingual candidates are encouraged to apply!
