Summary
As GLG’s business and Council Membership base continues to grow rapidly, we have identified a strategic opportunity to productize membership and accelerate our success. This is where you come in. GLG is the world’s leading professional learning platform with over 1,300 employees helping our client companies to answer specific questions through 1:1 learning. Our Council Members are a highly vetted group of over 500,000 professionals who have joined GLG to help answer these questions from GLG Clients, typically in brief micro-consulting consultations.
Responsibilities
* Innovate and launch new membership program with new benefits to drive member acquisition and retention * Lead go to market effort with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and operations * Analyze business/customer/competitive data trends to develop short- and long-term vision, strategy and plan * Partner with Marketing team to develop compelling program and features positioning/messaging and to accelerate Acquisition and Engagement in existing and new channels * Build business cases and monitor results * Manage a growing team who will execute the pilot and eventual roll out
Ideal Candidate
* A strategic thinker, with a strong passion for understanding and solving for customers' business and personal needs * Methodical and meticulous as a project manager. You needs to operate with the utmost sense of ownership for the initiatives with which you are involved, even when not explicitly given authority over the various participants and processes (which will usually be the case) * Have a strong ability to influence and drive results within the organization at all levels and with all functions * Have an analytical mindset and conduct high quality analysis * Be comfortable with ambiguity * Excited to grow program globally with opportunities for travel to international markets during expansion Reporting to the Head of Council Management, the Head of Product Marketing position is a key role in the organization and will receive a great deal of attention and support. At the same time, this role is designed for someone who can move initiatives forward with autonomy from day one. The role will offer significant C-Level level exposure as well. 5+ years of relevant experience required - in product/program management, product marketing or at a management consultancy preferred.
