* Train and advise marketing clients on current trademark, copyright and social media issues * Conduct and supervise trademark clearance and prosecution, including review of packaging and advertising, and giving infringement risk-management advice * Draft, negotiate, and advise clients on trademark license agreements * Police trademark and copyright infringement activities by third parties * Set case strategy and manage outside counsel in trademark oppositions and infringement litigation * Advise clients and conduct trademark and copyright due diligence for acquisitions/divestitures * Travel as required to represent the interests of General Mills

* JD * Minimum 5 years of professional experience at a law firm and/or corporate law department practicing in the areas of trademark law, including trademark search and prosecution, advising clients and negotiating and drafting trademark license agreements * Trademark litigation experience * Management of international trademark portfolios * Chinese language skills
