Import Analyst

In this role you will accountable for execution of day to day import operations and compliance activities supporting North American operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to interact with many entities across General Mills (multiple business units as well as functions - Quality, Sourcing, Regulatory, Operations, Engineering, R&D).

* Facilitate operational excellence (service) & compliance of cross-border movement of goods into the U.S. * Ensure transaction information is prepared and provided timely, accurately and is compliant for U.S. or other government agency submission * Manage Customs Broker Trade Compliance Activities to include broker SOP and QBR * Collaborate with departmental staff and domestic business divisions on import project implementation, timelines, and internal process requirements delivering project milestones and objectives on time.

* Bachelors Degree in Business/Supply Chain preferred * 3-5 years of Import Operations/Customs Brokerage experience required * Knowledge/experience of US importing regulations required * Excellent interpersonal skills and personal presence to communicate internally and externally, at multiple levels, across multiple functions required * Highly motivated, self starter with strong quantitative, problem solving and analytical skills required * US Customs Brokerage license * Knowledge of US export documentation, Ocean and Air freight forwarding
