Responsibilities
* Responsible for 24x7 on-call support * Provide technical leadership for the Facilities Data Technologies group on data and alarm alignment and administration * Lead customer-facing alignment meetings to bring customer awareness and accuracy of owner directed data and alarm points * Act as a single point of contact for project(s) assigned to FDT * Serves as project advisor to project teams regarding FDT aspects of the project * Serve as internal escalation point for focused support team’s technical support staff (e.g. Siemens, ALC, OsiSoft, Encilium). * Accountable for development of FDT system(s) Infrastructure alignment * Work with team members and customer groups on the study of start up tasks of a project to ensure project success * Author detailed design documents, protocols, P&IDs, and SOPs * Comply with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) * Implement system changes using site and corporate change control systems and processes * Develop and refine processes within FDT, which lead to greater efficiencies resulting in strengthening group as a logical provider of choice * Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
**Experience and Skills:** Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate all or most of the following skills and traits: * Communication * Organizational/attention to detail * Leadership/Mentoring * Reliability and dependability * Teamwork * Analytical/prioritization and troubleshooting skills * Customer service mindset * Project Management Experience. A PMP is desirable * Capable of working independently and interdependently, effective at managing multiple tasks and projects, flexible and able to adapt quickly to new and changing situations * Be able to identify problems, define problem statement clearly and accurately and apply structured and disciplined methodology to identify data-driven root causes * Experience with biotechnology/pharmaceutical computing environments a plus * Experience with Automation software: Siemens BAS, ALC, Yokogawa, or OSiSoft PI is a plus * Experience in industry standard communication protocols like OPC, MODBUS, and BACnet * Knowledge of sustainability measures and interaction(s) with Building Automation * Experience in computer systems validation **Education/Certification:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related field preferred or equivalent experience * Minimum 8 years’ experience automation systems * Knowledge of Windows based operating systems. (e.g. Windows server, Windows 7) * Knowledge of mobility devices and operating systems like iOS * Minimum 6 years’ experience alarm strategies and strong preference for data management experience * Minimum 8 years supporting a mission-critical Enterprise environment * Lean or Six Sigma (Green or Black) Belt Certification Strongly Desired. * Not eligible for relocation
