Summary
The Project Management Manager role will be part of the SF Strategic Delivery department within Single Family. Single Family Strategic Delivery is responsible for identifying, evaluating, designing, developing, and implementing new or enhanced offerings and business or technology projects initiated by the Single Family Division. The group engages business areas across the company including technology to identify and resolve impacts related to the projects being implemented to ensure successful rollout of projects both internally with business partners and externally with our customers. The Project Management Manager will be assigned to manage medium to large projects and offerings to support the Single Family Affordable Lending and Access to Credit team.
Responsibilities
* Analyze, design and develop business offerings as well as provide management of the implementation of those offerings * Create business solutions that are flexible and executable * Manage key project activities such as business case development, project scope and schedules, budgets, business requirements, issues and risks, business process redesign , user acceptance testing, training and rollout / communications * Lead efforts with members of project teams representing multiple diverse groups and divisions * Work collaboratively with customers as well as internal and external stakeholders representing various groups across the organization including operations and technology * Identify market requirements for current and future projects by conducting market research supported by on-going contact with customers and other industry players * Plan the rollout and launch of new offerings and projects including managing the cross-functional rollout plan and developing product positioning and messaging that communicates the value proposition to the sales team and internal constituents
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field * 8 or more years of project management and / or product management experience * 2 or more years managing matrixed teams * Experience working on change management projects especially projects involving changes to business process, applications and technology * Effectively manage projects through the use of standard project management tools, including business case development, project plan development, budget management, issue and risk management and status reporting **Preferred Skills** * Experience in the mortgage services and / or financial services industry is strongly preferred * Knowledge of the issues and challenges associated with affordable lending, access to credit, or community reinvestment act (CRA) * Ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing business environment and manage multiple tasks * PMP certification * Strong verbal and written skills, including the ability to facilitate effective meetings and to develop and deliver presentations/materials to various levels of audiences * Strong quantitative and analytic skills * Ability to work independently while driving and managing assignments from concept through deployment/launch * Ability to partner with communications, sales and other teams to ensure proper messaging and rollout of offerings to both internal and external constituencies. * Ability to partner with operational and technical staff at various levels * Strong analytical skills and proven ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly
