Assistant General Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for an Assistant General Manager to support the management of daily operations at a complex shopping center property. You will manage and direct all personnel and resources to maximize profit. You will also assist in overseeing marketing, security, maintenance and housekeeping while providing excellent goods and services to the community.

In this position your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in directing shopping center associates and managing operations
• Liaising between tenants and ownership
• Working on developing shopping center budget and analysis of financing
• Reinforcing and maintaining relationships with local entities

• Undergraduate degree with a focus in Business, Marketing, Accounting, Finance or related discipline; or equivalent work experience
• At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in shopping center management
• Knowledge of financial operations, physical operations, security, tenant relations, associate administration, leasing, promotions/advertising, research or marketing
• At least 1 year of previous supervisory experience
• Ability to manage at both a daily operational level and a strategic level
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong analytical and decision making skills
