Staff Accountant

• Process 1099s and W-2s
• Support accounting service issues
• Ensure proper collection of receivables
• Process customer refunds; apply customer credits and debits
• Analyze general accounts and prepare month end reconciliations
• Gather midyear and annual audit information for external auditors
• Manage clerical tasks, filing, special projects and ad hoc reporting tasks
• Reconcile cash receipts and bank deposits; post/ apply cash receipts and deposits
• Assist with preparation of state tax returns, financial statements, analyses, year-end tax return

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 3-5+ years Accounting experience
• advanced MS Office skills inclusive of Excel
• professional, positive attitude along with self-motivation
• ability to work well independently as well as with a team
• adapt with ease to changing business needs; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
