Senior Pre-Sales Engineer

Exiger is seeking a dynamic individual with high energy to join our team as Senior Pre-Sales Engineer. This individual will sit within Exiger Analytics and drive adoption of DDIQ enterprise software for large financial institutions and multinational corporations. This person will be the technical point person and solutions expert to interface with clients in the sales and configuration process. This person will assist in all levels of technical account planning and accompany sales account managers on client, prospect, and partnership opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience in both software development and client facing roles.

* Handling technical presentations at client meetings, trade shows and conferences * Explain features and benefits of the Exiger Analytics solutions in comparison to competitive products with significant experience in problem solving and objection handling. * Deep insight and awareness of technical platforms, integrations, engineering considerations, and an eye to sustainability and business operations. Must be able to gain the respect of developers and present technical concepts to C-Level Execs * Communicating with sales and product management regarding customer needs * Completing RFI/RFP; identifying client requirements and ensuring proactive communications with customers to ensure customer satisfaction * Ability to independently configure client accounts by leveraging administrative tools to deliver the optimal client solution * Work with the development operations team to spin up and deploy custom instances for client pilots * Minor coding where required to implement basic front end and CSS changes and back end system processes

* 5+ years of experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer or in a client facing role providing enterprise software solutions to the financial services industry * Knowledge of fraud prevention, transaction monitoring, or anti-money laundering due diligence an asset * Technical expertise including working knowledge of Java, CSS, MySQL, Jira, Bitbucket, and agile project management * BS degree in computer science, statistics or equivalent advanced degree a plus * Excellent communication skills * Must be willing to travel to customer sites [up to 60%]
