Summary
The Solution Architect is responsible for the architecture of Equifax USCIS Technology customer solutions. This individual will work with Equifaxs top clients as a Technical Consultant and Solution Architect on client implementations. The Solution Architect will be able to develop deep, trusted relationships with clients at all levels, including executives, business owners and IT professionals;translating IT capabilities into the appropriate industry business value. The Solution Architect will engage in pre-sales activities to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and leverage Equifax USCIS - InterConnect SaaS capabilities fully and effectively. This position will support teams by owning the technical aspects of the client application.This person will also work in partnership with an Implementation Program Manager and Business Analyst.
Responsibilities
* Recognized as atrusted technical advisor within the company * Solves unique and complex problems, typically requiring conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions * Develops and delivers complex solution presentations and demonstrations building trust with the customer reflecting anability to meet the business requirements * Provides conceptual architecture and technical design documentation for application solutions * Explains technical issues to a variety of audiences, including enterprise clients and experienced software developers/architects * Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view * Partners with Sales to provide client technical visions and roadmaps that align with customer needs * Guides customers to make strategic decisions that appropriately balance their competing needs for short-and long-term goals * Assists with and conduct requirements discovery sessions with customers * Discovers ways to improve internal processes and increase efficiency * Mentors development leads on consulting, managing offshore developers, detailed designs, system requirements, and communication to various stakeholders * Ensures technical teams are following standards and deliveringhigh quality development * Contributes to the ongoing innovation and improvement of team processes and data workflow * Drive SaaS best practices throughout the teams and helps lead change throughout the organization
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field;Graduate degree preferred * Must be willing to travel (20-25%) during certain periods * Must meet skills and experience mentioned above * 6+ years direct experience in software development life cycle * 4+ years experience in Web-API, (REST - Web Services). * Project management skills and experience in managing teams * Knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM) techniques and tools * Direct, hands-on experience with automated software development tools * Strong knowledge of data management, including data capture, storing, and security * Must have excellent oral and written communication, presentation, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision making, and problem solving skills * Must be a team player as demonstrated through a customer qualification of a large scale/enterprise implementation with multiple workstreams
