Production Artist

Emmi delivers award winning patient engagement solutions by combining an intimate understanding of people with expertise in educational and behavioral science. Emmi programs provide a way for healthcare organizations to engage individuals to be participants and partners in their care through the web, video, mobile devices and more. We create empowered people, improved relationships and healthier populations. We are looking for a Production Artist who likes to collaborate with writers and artists, add some illustration of their own, and can assemble a compelling story that takes complex information and breaks it down into something anyone can understand.

* Build flash timelines from written scripts, using art libraries, templates, and style guides. * Look for opportunities to add your own art and animation. * Be an active participant in brainstorms. * Work closely with the Art Director, Medical Art Director, artists, and writers to create easy to understand programs about complex, sometimes scary, health information. * Learn to use a random assortment of tools and programs to generate multimedia content.

* Working in Flash is second nature to you. We're talking art, not actionscript. * You're able to draw in a style other than your own. * You're comfortable in Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, and basic HTML. * You've played around with traditional and 3D animation, and want to learn more. * BA degree or higher with a focus on art, animation, or multimedia or equivalent experience. * An online portfolio showing your animation, illustration, and design work.
