Summary
Product Managers at Earnest bridge our functional teams to translate our technology into products, features, and experiences with the greatest possible value to clients. We analyze, strategize, inspire, code, and rarely rest. We build consensus around product specs and priorities across a team of experts in risk, finance, data science, engineering, design, and more.
Responsibilities
* Soup-to-nuts ownership of a high-level business area * Defining product roadmap and priorities * Scoping, spec'ing, and phasing product requirements * Advising product design and technical architecture * Supporting commercialization and launch * Prioritizing, clarifying, and triaging bugs * Solving lots of problems as efficiently as possible
Ideal Candidate
You are a technical and well-rounded entrepreneur. You like switching between writing SQL, fixing buggy Javascript, commenting on mocks, and establishing a dynamic roadmap that carefully balances effort and value. If you are fit for this job then you probably can't imagine feeling as fulfilled doing anything else. * 2-5 years of Product Management experience at a leading technology company * Strong analytical capabilities: you can write advanced SQL needed to answer nuanced questions * Technical skill set: you have experience aligning technical architecture with a product vision and roadmap * Basic foundation in statistics: you understand statistical significance and what affects it * Strong collaboration skills: written and verbal communication, stakeholder management * Passionate about Earnest's mission * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields or equivalent practical experience **Bonus Qualifications:** * A background in finance is not required, but if you already know about concepts like IRR and LIBOR, that certainly wouldn't hurt
