Are you a subject matter expert on food safety and Food Safety Management Act (FSMA)? Do you want to work for a growing company in an exciting industry? As the Food Safety Program Manager you will be responsible for leading the development, support and management of Food safety and FSMA for all Central Valley winery locations.
- Lead the plant teams in the risk assessment process and the development of a food safety and FSMA plans
- Continually assessing risk-based preventive control improvementsDevelops and manages FSMA priorities and facilitates training
- Performs root-cause analyses for quality and food safety related issues
- Ensures compliance with applicable food safety regulatory requirements (Federal, State/Provincial and, Local)
- Identifies foreseeable biological, chemical and physical hazards
- Develops GFSI and ISO 17025 certification conformance and ensures compliancePrepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendationsLeads alignment of key stakeholders on the development and management of preventive controls to ensure food safety·
- Communicates risk and improvements to Sr. Management to proactively respond to changing requirements·
- Define, develop/implement management systems and processes to drive compliance to FSMA regulations
What You Need
- Master’s degree plus 3 years; or Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years; or 9 years of quality assurance/quality control, production-operations process/program management, lean six sigma operations management, or engineering experience reflecting increasing levels or responsibility.
