Engineering Project Manager

As a Project Manager you will focus on developing and implementing improved equipment and controls methods to meet quality and production standards at the Livingston Winery, you will lead full life-cycle capital projects for the largest winery in the world. Working cross-functionally with the Executive Leadership Team, you will lead the projects that will help revolutionize our Winery’s Facilities.
Influence
- Obtain buy-in from management on projects that have the potential to enhance existing capabilities
- Act as a liaison between your department and other departments and divisions, with the objective of improving processes across the organization?
Continuous Improvement
- You’ll make a significant impact on the organization by exercising your freedom to identify opportunities that lower risk, create value and increase efficiency
- Make your mark: you’ll develop recommendations to change systems, policies, and proceduresUtilize data to ensure that your design meets your function and performance specifications
- Analyze your results to see if there is feasibility for application development or product proposalsDevelop and coordinate the building of system prototypes
- Conduct research and analytical studies to develop specifications for facilities projects and processes
Project Management
- You’ll plan and develop experimental test programsYou’ll review project proposals to determine time frame, budgets, staffing requirements, and available resources needed from inception to completion
- You’ll identify the resources needed to accomplish your project’s objectives
- You’ll maintain communication with your project team members, ensuring that the project progresses on time and within the allotted budget
- You’ll prepare product and system layout, detailed drawings and schematics
- You’ll prepare project reports for management, clients, and other stakeholders
What You Need
- Bachelor of Engineering degree plus 8 years of experience executing engineering initiatives in a manufacturing environment OR 12 years of experience executing engineering initiatives in a manufacturing environmentRequired to occasionally work extended / non-traditional hours
- Experience managing capital projectsHigh school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
What Will Set You Apart
- 10 years of food and beverage production engineering experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
- Master of Engineering degree
- Experience in the Food and Beverage Industry with liquid processing and packaging, Good Manufacturing Practices and cleaning procedures
