Responsibilities
The Content & Editorial Lead will be responsible for strategizing, editing, and writing about a range of topics which appeal to the dscout UX and research community. Of course, this role will include the usual: include case studies, webinars, user guides, how-tos, but we want you to do more than that. We want you to help us make compelling, original content that highlights the promise and power of the dscout platform. This job is both a challenge and an amazing opportunity. You will be the first person (of many) to really shape the editorial voice and approach You need to be a great writer and editor, but also not afraid to help us build an audience and to inspire the use of dscout. You’ll report to our CEO, and work closely with our Brand Director and success team for the majority of your projects. **What you'll do** - Researching, writing, and editing short and long-form pieces and reports on how to do content marketing effectively—including in-depth how-tos about using the dscout platform. - Project managing between marketing, editorial, and design teams for marketing projects that require inter-team support. - Assisting with copy on communications tasks for our teams; things like product emails, sales decks, marketing emails, etc.
Ideal Candidate
- 3-5 years professional experience working in content marketing for a B2B company - A great writer and editor - Experience with content strategy and setting an editorial direction and plan - Ability to work between teams, and to balance editorial integrity with marketing needs - Candidates must be organized, diligent, and ready to work hard in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines - Ability to present ideas both verbally and visually
