Summary
Our client located in Morris, IL is looking for a Maintenance Manager to manage and continually develop site maintenance. The right candidate will manage work processes, employees, and ensure regulatory compliance at this manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for leading the following programs and initiatives: Safety, Process Safety Management, Corporate Asset Integrity and other Health Safety Environmental, Regulatory Inspection, Project Management, and Crisis Communication.
Responsibilities
* Help establish Maintenance Management policies, strategies and annual objectives for the site. * Manage maintenance work processes and systems, rules, and procedures for the site. * Develop and implement Maintenance strategy, plans, objectives and goals for this site. * Manage contracts for the outsourced maintenance partnerships. * Ensure compliance with relevant federal, state and local laws and regulations, as well as corporate directives, standards, procedures related to Maintenance. * Lead and develop department employees, ensure staffing and stimulate talent management. * Responsible for managing Maintenance department activities and employees. * Develop, implement and continuously improve the Maintenance training programs and plans. * Responsible for the site intranet related to Maintenance. This includes the Maintenance documentation system, SAP PS master data, operational data and input. * Provide insights regarding quantitative and qualitative development reports and analysis for the site. * Defining, planning, managing and coordinating assigned portfolio of projects and ensure execution and delivery.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree * Minimum of 8 years of experience from a process industry site related Maintenance work. * Excellent leadership skills, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Planning and organizing skills, be results oriented, and have good negotiating skills. * Physical demands: Must be able to access all areas of site, walking and climbing stairs.
