Senior DevOps Engineer

DITTO is the first subscription business for designer eyewear and licensor of its proprietary, patented 3D virtual try-on technology. Customers can rent an extensive collection of designer sunglasses and prescription glasses and create a DITTO, a video of their face from their phone or webcam to virtually try-on glasses to see if they fit and look great in 180-degree views before they select them.

* Help write code to automate and monitor our AWS infrastructure. * Develop scalable infrastructure in a cloud environment * Use configuration management tools to make our lives easier.

* Love automating robust infrastructure * Describe yourself as a self-starter, proactive, positive, creative, and flexible * Write clean and easy to read code * Are excited to work with a small and talented engineering team * Don't mind working start-up hours * Are willing to commute to DITTO's office at 19 S Park St San Francisco, CA (blocks from the Caltrain) **Qualifications:** * 5+ Years using Linux/Ubuntu/Debian/RedHat * Experience with Debian Package Creation * Familiarity with Software Repository Management / PPA creation - aptly, reprepr, etc * Experience with major Configuration Management tools like CFEngine, Salt, Ansible, Chef, etc * Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Perl, Python, & rubyHands-on knowledge of AWS, OpenStack, Google Cloud * Distributed Storage Knowledge, S3, Ceph, gluster, etc * Familiarity with Linux Kernel Hacking, building custom kernels, drivers, and backporting modules * Experience standing up and administering monitoring and metrics tools like CheckMK, Zabbix, Munin, & Nagios * Experience with continuous integration servers like Jenkins and Bamboo * Familiarity with client-side web app development in JavaScript, CSS, & HTML * Familiarity with Networking technologies like AWS VPC, OpenVPN, VyOS, Vyatta, TCP/IP, Subnetting * Solid understanding of internet fundamentals from TCP/IP to HTML5 * BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics or Math or equivalent work experience.
