Summary
Sales Engineering will be deeply technical with great customer skills, and know how to successfully work as a trusted advisor to ensure the success of prospects and customers. Will have a strong background in data & technology and have successfully sold and/or deployed Business Intelligence solutions. Will engage with business analysts confidently and succinctly and understand how they want to interact with data.
Responsibilities
* Lead and drive all activities for our Global Sales Engineering team * Work with cross-functional team leaders to prioritize Sales Engineering deliverables * Work with cross-functional team leaders to align Sales Engineering strategy across the company * Partner with Sales teams to strategize how to sell into prospects and customers * Provide reporting on sales activities, customer initiatives, and product requirements * Present technical presentations to prospects, customers, and company associates
Ideal Candidate
**The Requirements** * Minimum of 10 years of sales engineering experience in a similar industry * Minimum of 3 years directly managing a sales engineering team in a similar industry * Minimum of 3 years directly in a Telecommunications/ Colocation or Data Center Environment * Proven experience in leading and completing cross-functional corporate initiatives **Desired Skills** * Proven leadership skills * Knowledge in building, evaluating and improving teams * Excellent written and verbal communications skills to all levels especially to internal senior executives * Excellent MS Office skills – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint * Excellent cross-functional team leader and facilitator * Excellent in person and virtual presentation skills * Driven self-motivator focused on results and helping teams win and accomplish their goals * Expeditious, thorough, and accurate customer follow-up skills * Very good problem solving skills * Good business strategy and planning experience * Very good interpersonal and people relationship skills
