Summary
DEG is seeking an Integration Engineer to work within the .NET team. Integration Engineers are primarily responsible for delivering client value by implementing solutions that integrate with various platforms. The successful engineer will be able to build innovative solutions on-time and on-budget with low technical debt. Responsibilities
* Implements business logic as defined by the client and BA * Implements data access layer, database model and logic * Performs unit testing, both automated and manual, of business logic and behavior to confirm proper implementation of requirements and quality execution * Estimates development tasks during discovery, scoping, planning and development stages * Communicates technical dependencies, blocks and risks to project stakeholders and management * Provides valuable written feedback on peers and evaluation of team performance * Follows project level design decisions and conventions * Manages time effectively to meet deadlines and commitments * Help support team owned legacy projects * May configure and deploy projects to various hosting environments for review * May implement interface layout and behavior * May perform basic server administration and configuration of development and hosting environments
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field * 3-5 years of data integration experience utilizing web services/APIs, flat files, FTP, Salesforce, etc * Strong experience using C# and SQL. * Knowledge of website development using various platforms * Firm understanding of SOLID principles and common patterns/anti-patterns * Familiar with reactive patterns * Familiar with ETL concepts * Experience with Salesforce is preferred but not required * Experience in data warehousing is preferred but not required * Ability to work both on a team and independently
